The ships of the Black Sea Fleet repelled a massive missile airstrike as part of the exercises, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Black Sea Fleet.
The maneuvers took place in the Black Sea, they were conducted jointly with the Air Force and Air Defense unit of the Southern Military District.
According to legend, the missile cruiser “Moscow”, the frigate “Admiral Grigorovich”, the patrol ship “Ladny” and the missile boats “iVanovets” and “R-60” performed tasks to protect shipping and protect objects of maritime economic activity of Russia in the Black Sea.
The planes of the Air Force and air defense units of the Southern Military District, based in the Crimea, simulated an enemy strike on several targets in the Black Sea. The grouping of the Black Sea Fleet ships conditionally destroyed the enemy’s aircraft and its missiles at maximum range.
Earlier it was reported that Russia and Pakistan are preparing together to repel the growing threats.
It also became known that the military of the Russian Federation and Mongolia conducted the first training at the Selenga-2021 exercises. Motorized rifle and tank units have worked out a joint offensive with deployment to the battle line.
