SpaceX has launched the American satellite SXM-8 into orbit

The American company SpaceX has launched a Falcon 9 carrier rocket with a relay satellite SXM-8, the broadcast was conducted on the company’s website.

The launch took place at 00:26 East Coast time from the Cape Canaveral space center in Florida. 31 minutes and 52 seconds after the launch, the satellite was successfully launched into orbit.

The first stage of the Falcon 9 has previously been used twice to deliver Crew Dragon spacecraft to orbit. A few minutes after the launch, she landed on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean. 

Earlier it was reported that SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 launch vehicle with a Dragon cargo ship to the ISS. The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle took place on June 3 from the Cape Canaveral spaceport to the International Space Station. The autonomous docking with the ISS will take place on Saturday, June 5, at 05: 13 East Coast time. Dragon is carrying 3.3 tons of cargo to the ISS. The launch vehicle and spacecraft are owned by the private company SpaceX, which delivers cargo and crew to the ISS under a contract with NASA.
