The American company SpaceX has launched a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, which will deliver the Turkish communications satellite Turksat 5A into orbit. This is stated on the company’s Twitter page.
The launch was carried out at 22:58 East Coast time (06:58 Moscow time) from the Cape Canaveral cosmodrome. It is planned that this communication satellite will be operated for at least 15 years.
Earlier, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket with a space laboratory.
Meanwhile, it became known that the only woman in the Russian cosmonaut squad, Anna Kikina, will make her first flight in 2022, she can go into space on the American Crew Dragon ship.
