MIA: when going abroad, you should come up with a conditional sign for asking for help

Specialists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation recommended Russians to come up with a conditional sign for asking for help before traveling abroad, writes TASS with reference to the press center of the ministry.

“Before traveling abroad to work or study, you need to come up with a word or phrase that will mean that you are in danger and need help,” the agency’s interlocutor advised, explaining that in case of abduction or forcible detention, when a telephone conversation is under the control of criminals, the only way to report danger may be a code phrase.

An employee of the department clarified that it should be very simple, so as not to arouse suspicion among the kidnappers.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported a failure in the traffic police information system. Regional divisions of the traffic police were forced to suspend the provision of public services related to the registration of motor vehicles and the issuance of driver’s licenses.

It was also reported that in Russia they plan to create a mobile application with which you can complain about traffic violators.
