The government of the Russian Federation has approved the allocation of 600 million rubles for the remuneration of medical workers who consult patients with coronavirus in an online format, according to a message on the cabinet’s website.
As noted by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, these funds will allow to involve about 2.5 thousand specialists from among the employees of other medical institutions and medical students.This measure is being introduced against the background of the burden on the outpatient health care in recent years.
Earlier, Mikhail Mishustin signed an order according to which more than 17.3 billion rubles will be allocated for the remuneration of medical workers.
The funds will be allocated this year for the salaries of doctors and nurses, funding will be distributed among the budgets of the territorial funds of compulsory medical insurance.
