The plot of the detention of the adviser to the head of Roscosmos Ivan Safronov in the case of treason
The Moscow City Court on Wednesday extended the term of detention of the adviser to the head of Roscosmos, ex-journalist & laquo; Kommersant » and«Vedomosti & raquo; Ivan Safronov, accused of treason, TASS reports.
The court granted the request of the investigation and extended Safronov’s detention until October 7.
We will remind, Safronov was detained in July last year. He is suspected of working for the Czech special services since 2012.
On April 30, the Lefortovo Court in Moscow extended Safronova’s arrest until July 7. On the same day, the FSB detained Safronov’s main lawyer, the head of the human rights association of journalists and lawyers “Team 29” Ivan Pavlov. He is suspected of disclosing the data of the preliminary investigation.
It was also reported that the FSB investigator offered Safronov to cooperate in exchange for calling his mother. This was stated by the lawyer of the accused Dmitry Katchev.
