The FSB has exposed an agent of the Ukrainian special services in Russia

In Russia, an agent of the special services of Ukraine, who for a long time provided “advisory assistance” to the SBU with the aim of “damaging the security of the Russian Federation”, has been exposed, the press service of the FSB reports.

It is specified that the name of the suspect is Alexey Semenyaka.

Its activities were coordinated by Ukrainian counterintelligence officers Timur Gasymov and Igor Chernyak.

FSB operatives seized the Ukrainian’s electronic devices with messages from SBU employees offering to help them solve their work issues in order to harm the security interests of Russia. During the interview, Semenyaka confirmed that he maintained a long-term relationship with representatives of the SBU and provided them with diverse consulting assistance.

During the investigation, operatives recorded an attempt by third parties from Kiev to remotely destroy data from Semenyaka’s mobile device. The FSB regarded this as a way to protect Semenyaka by his curators from the SBU. Data deletion was prevented.

Also, the FSB prevented the damage to the external security of the Russian Federation by the actions of Semenyaka. His stay in the country was declared undesirable, and he was banned from entering Russia for 25 years. On June 3, Semenyaka left the territory of the Russian Federation.
