The plot of the emergency in the hospital of Vladikavkaz
The Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz sent the chief physician of the republican clinical hospital under house arrest, where patients died as a result of an accident with oxygen.
According to TASS, citing a source in the court, the court chose such a measure of restraint for a period of two months.
Recall that on August 9, there was a breakthrough in the oxygen pipe that feeds the intensive care unit in the hospital. In this department there were patients connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. The tragedy claimed the lives of 11 people.
After the inspection, the specialists recorded a number of technical shortcomings and negligence on the part of the staff.The head doctor of the institution was detained.
Earlier it became known that before the accident, the chief physician informed the Minister of Health of the republic about problems with oxygen.
