The US Air Force reported on the secret launch of an American satellite from the International Space Station, RIA Novosti reports.
It is clarified that the device, called BD-28, was successfully put into orbit, when and how this happened is unknown. Usually launches are made using platforms that are carried out using manipulators.
In turn, the American cosmonautics expert Jonathan McDowell suggested that the BD-28 may belong to a private company that does not want to advertise its activities yet.
Earlier, the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with 88 satellites on board launched from the Cape Canaveral Cosmodrome in Florida.
