VS stood up for the Stavropol resident who did not have time to file a complaint due to self-isolation

The plot is a pandemic of a new type of coronavirus that has spread from China

The Supreme Court supported a resident of Stavropol, who did not have time to file a complaint due to prolonged self-isolation, RIA Novosti reports.

The man disputed the results of land surveying, and the court partially satisfied his claim, after which the plaintiff appealed first to the appellate and then to the cassation instance. He filed the last complaint late, because due to his age he observed the self-isolation regime for a long time, then fell ill and spent about a month in the hospital. He also failed to collect the necessary documents in time due to changes in the work of state organizations against the background of the pandemic.

The Fifth Cassation Court of general jurisdiction did not accept the Stavropol citizen’s complaint and refused to restore the missed deadline, and he appealed to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

The Judicial Board recalled that the deadline for filing a complaint can be restored for a good reason, and for the plaintiff it is such. The Board ordered the Fifth Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction to consider the complaint.

Earlier it was reported that in Bashkiria, a pensioner who did not show a QR code was forcibly detained at the bus station.

It also became known that elderly Muscovites will be able to unlock social cards after vaccination.
