According to “Kommersant”, information from the existing registers of executive authorities and state information systems can be added to the digital profile. TASS writes that the service will work within the framework of the state information system (GIS) “My School”.

The child’s family will independently determine what achievements should be included in the digital portfolio, said the director of the Department of Digital Transformation and Big Data of the Ministry of Education Pavel Kuzmin.

Will the digital profile be mandatory?

Later, Kuzmin denied plans to create a single mandatory digital portfolio for each student. According to him, parents of schoolchildren will decide for themselves whether to create a portfolio in digital form or continue to conduct it in the usual way, accumulating paper diplomas and certificates.

Who will have access to the digital portfolio?

According to Vasilyeva, only the students themselves will be able to create a digital portfolio. And only they will have access to a personal account, where information about their academic and extracurricular achievements will be collected.

The portfolio data can only be disclosed with the consent of its owner. The student will be able to share their achievements with educational organizations at their own discretion when transferring to another school, entering a college or university.
