Holidays with robots. New programs for schoolchildren launched in the country

Plot National Projects

All over the country, the Engineering Holidays start in the summer. They are held on the basis of children’s technology parks “Quantorium” and “IT-Cubes” in the framework of the national project “Education”.

The main goal of the engineering holidays is to attract children and young people to the study and practical application of scientific methods and technologies. Engineering holidays are implemented in several areas: excursions, open days, game programs, open competitions, intellectual games, hiking and much more.

The programs involve the involvement of children in active play and project activities under the guidance of mentors, acquaintance with modern trends and problems of the development of scientific and engineering fields, meetings with opinion leaders, as well as demonstration of work on modern equipment.

Already, 135 children’s and 70 mobile technology parks, the Quantorium, and 71 digital education centers, the IT Cube, have been established and are functioning throughout the country.

The Volzhsky Polytech Quantorium in the Volgograd Region will host the engineering holidays “QuantoLeto” until June 30 for schoolchildren who are passionate about technical creativity, as well as for children interested in project and research activities. The participants of the “Qantoleto” are not only schoolchildren, but also students of the Volga Regionpolytechnic technical school. The program of the educational shift consists of three modules: project, general development, and creative. It includes excursions, master classes, quests and challenges, guru lectures, competitions and conferences in the field of scientific and engineering creativity. Participants will meet with scientists, designers, and testers.

In the Center for the Support of Gifted Children “Volna”, located on the basis of the children’s health camp in the Dubovsky district of the Volgograd region, on June 15, the profile shift started: 150 pupils of the children’s technopark “Quantorium” will master new programs. The shift will last until the end of June. 2-week engineering vacation, which are held for the first time at the camp’s base, began for 60 children who have already reached heights in the research and technical areas. Space has been chosen as a new topic for such young specialists: the shift participants will take a course in 3D modeling, study microcontrollers, neurotechnology, and design a spacecraft.

In the Leningrad Region, the Kingisepp Quantorium has launched the program “Engineering Holidays: IT. Cosmo. Robo”, which will last until the end of summer and includes a master class, project activities and classes in the following areas: IT, robotics, cosmo. IT-direction & nbsp; & mdash; introduction to the basics of programming, solving logical problems with the help of electronic devices. Robo —assembly of robot models of different functionality, acquaintance with the basics of their programming, creating your own robot.Cosmo —introduction to the device of space rockets, self-modeling and calculation and calculation of the launch of rockets into orbit. The program promotes the development of skills in the field of information technology, helps to understand the structure of modern robotic systems and get acquainted with the basic concepts of the field of space technology. For those who are taking their first steps in technical creativity, the program will help to form an interest in the art of engineering through the implementation of projects.

In the Saratov Region, mentors of the IT Cube have opened a summer project shift in the fantasy world for 50 children aged from 7 to 18. On the basis of the Center for Additional Education «Constellation» Balashov, the summer shift will last until 29 & nbsp; June and will end with the protection of research projects. Participants will develop them for 2 weeks in 4 programs: programming in Python, designing robot models, WEB 3D, 3D modeling. At the & nbsp; solemnat the opening of the summer IT-intensive school, students were photographed with a Bumblebee robot and a tyrannosaurus rex from augmented reality. The event was hosted by wizards from Hogwarts, who conducted an exciting quiz and, together with the students of the Constellation Center, set the participants up for further fruitful work. “The projects of the shift participants will be dedicated to the magical world of fantasy. In the section “Programming in Python”, the students are led by the teacher Alevtina Vyachina they will work on creating a quest game based on the Harry Potter universe. Creating robot model designs & bdquo; Robotrony & ldquo; will hold teacher Andrey Sytin. The magic ball from the Harry Potter universe according to the Web 3D program will be made together with teacher Andrey Prakhov. 3D modeling will be dedicated to the creation of the “Ring of Omnipotence” and the “King Arthur’s sword”. This will help the children teacher Alexander Kotov, & nbsp; & mdash; told the head of the «IT-cube» Elena Andreeva.
