Heavy rains caused a power outage for 29.3 thousand people in the Krasnodar Territory, according to the website of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
The message clarifies that outages due to heavy precipitation occur in the 6-10 kV power grid on Friday from 17.00.
Restoration work is carried out by ten teams of power engineers. The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation keeps the situation under special control.
Due to precipitation, 956 household plots were flooded in the Krasnodar Territory, water entered more than 200 private houses, TASS writes, citing a source in the regional emergency services.
The traffic police, due to the erosion of the roadway, introduced a traffic restriction on the federal highway Novorossiysk Kerch. The site in the area of 53-56 km – from the village of Tsibanobalka to the village of Voskresensky near the city of Anapa was recognized as dangerous, the state traffic inspectorate told the agency. In addition, traffic is restricted at the exit from the village of Vityazevo, near the village of Vinogradny and Temryuksky district.
According to the representative of the traffic police, drivers are urged to refuse to travel in this direction if possible, since the situation on the roads due to weather conditions remains difficult.
The rains that began on the night of August 13 will continue in Abinsky, Crimean, Slavyansky, Temryuk, Primorsko-Akhtarsky, Krasnoarmeysky and Kalininsky districts, Gelendzhik, Anapa and Novorossiysk. Up to 150 mm of precipitation is expected to fall there per day. At the same time, a three – month precipitation rate of 120 mm has already fallen in Anapa since the evening of August 12.
Earlier, the state of emergency was introduced due to the deterioration of weather conditions in Anapa and Novorossiysk, then in the Temryuk and Slavyansky districts.
In Sochi, all beaches are closed, local authorities have organized round-the-clock monitoring of the water level in rivers and warned citizens from areas of possible flooding about the need to be ready for evacuation.
