The Nagatinsky Court of Moscow today arrested in absentia the ex-director of the Anti-Corruption Fund (FBK, recognized in the Russian Federation as an NGO-foreign agent and an extremist organization) Ivan Zhdanov in the case of malicious non-execution of a court decision. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press secretary of the judicial instance.
Thus, the investigation’s request for a preventive measure for the defendant was granted. It was changed from the previously chosen subscription not to leave and proper behavior to detention for a month from the moment of detention.
Earlier today it became known that Zhdanov was put on the international wanted list.
Before that, he was fined 100,000 rubles in a criminal case for non-compliance with a court decision.
