Regional universities have received additional budget places in the specialties most in demand in the economy of a particular region. Therefore, the average passing score there has decreased. But it is not essential, so it is not worth sounding the alarm. In the universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the average passing score, on the contrary, has increased. And this is a trendthe last 3 years. Graduates with high USE scores are chosen by metropolitan universities, because the prestige of the university is also important for them, and among which children they will study. There is also a risk that in their regions they will find themselves among children with significantly lower scores, less motivated, who will not be able to master complex programs.

The TikTok social network has registered a personal account on the Roskomnadzor website within the framework of the law on the activities of foreign persons on the Network in the territory of the Russian Federation, it follows from the data on the agency’s website.

Recall, according to the new law, foreign Internet resources with a daily audience of over 500 thousand Russian users are required from this year to open representative offices in the Russian Federation for direct interaction with the Russian side if any questions arise.

The state tests of the hypersonic cruise missile “Zircon” have entered the final phase, its serial deliveries will begin this year, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. 

The ministry’s message states that special attention is paid to the development and supply of the army with high-precision and hypersonic weapons.

It is noted that a missile regiment equipped with a state-of-the-art Avangard missile system has recently taken up duty in the 13th Division of the Strategic Missile Forces.

Recall that on December 24, a multiple launch of “Zircon” was carried out. In January, the state Commission recommended that the missile be adopted by surface ships of the Russian Navy.

The new submarine “Volkhov” of the Pacific Fleet on January 20 launched a cruise missile “Caliber” at a ground target in the Sea of Japan, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.

The missile hit the target at the Surkum test site in the Khabarovsk Territory. The flight range exceeded 1 thousand kilometers.

It is noted that the process was supervised by ships and vessels of the Pacific Fleet, as well as aircraft and drones of naval aviation.

We should add that today Sevmash was informed that the construction of the Belgorod nuclear submarine, the carrier of the Poseidon sea drones, is at the final stage.

The Russian Navy will conduct a series of exercises in January-February on all seas adjacent to the Russian territory, as well as in strategically important areas of the World Ocean, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.

Also, separate exercises will be held in the Mediterranean, Northern and Okhotsk Seas, the north-eastern part of the Atlantic Ocean and in the Pacific Ocean.

The Navy plans to use more than 140 combat and auxiliary vessels, more than 60 aircraft, 1,000 units of military equipment and about 10 thousand military personnel.

In particular, today in the Sea of Japan, the newest diesel-electric submarine “Volkhov” hit a target at a training ground in the Khabarovsk Territory. The launch of the cruise missile of the “Caliber” complex was carried out from an underwater position. The rocket flew more than 1,000 km.

The ministry recalled that from January 18 to 22, the Russian-Chinese-Iranian CHIRU-2Q22 naval exercise is being held in the Gulf of Oman. It involves a detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet consisting of the Guards missile cruiser Varyag, a large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributs and a large sea tanker Boris Butoma.

After the completion of the exercises, the detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet will move to the Mediterranean Sea, where it will meet with the forces of the Northern and Baltic fleets. They will conduct joint exercises. A detachment of SF and BF ships on January 15 has already left Baltiysk and headed to the meeting area.

The study was conducted on the basis of the Italian Institute. The blood sera of individuals vaccinated with the V Satellite and Pfizer drug with similar levels of IgG antibodies and virus neutralizing activity to the original strain registered in Wuhan were compared.

It turned out that the Russian drug neutralized the omicron strain in 74.2% of cases, and the Pfizer vaccine in 56.9%. The researchers believe that the “Satellite” gives a stronger immune response due to a wider range of virus neutralizing antibodies and a better imitation of infection by the adenovirus platform.

The Gamalei Center also noted the high effectiveness of the drug “Sputnik Light” against “omicron” when used as a booster vaccine.

Recall, on January 17, the Australian authorities allowed entry into the country vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine “Sputnik V”. The Australian regulator noted that the drug from the Russian Federation showed 89% effectiveness against coronavirus infection.

Plot Criminal case against the governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev

The Moscow City Court recognized the legal extension until the end of February of the arrest of the former head of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev, accused of corruption crimes, RIA Novosti reports.

The press service of the court informed the agency that the appeals of the defense of Belozertsev on the cancellation of the court’s decision to extend the detention of the ex-governor in custody, as well as on the transfer of the case for a new trial to the court of first instance, were left without satisfaction.

In December, the Moscow City Court arrested Boris Shpigel, the head of the Biotech group of pharmaceutical companies, in the case of a bribe to the ex-head of the Penza Region, Ivan Belozertsev.

Belozertsev and other defendants in the case were detained in March. The ex-head of the region is accused of receiving money and other valuables worth more than 31 million rubles as a bribe. In total, six people appear in the case, none of them admits guilt.

It should be noted that in June the court classified the Belozertsev case.

The largest NATO exercise Cold Response 2022 will be held in early March in the Arctic Circle. This was announced on the Twitter page by the US mission to the alliance.
